Risk Shell Editions & Configurations
Risk Shell is a modular investment-management and risk-analytics platform. Clients can select a pre-configured edition aligned with their investment process or build a custom configuration using only the analytical, portfolio-management and data components they require.
Pre-configured editions are defined separately for each client category. Basic, Ultimate I, Ultimate II, Ultimate III and Ultimate IV therefore represent different combinations of Risk Shell components depending on the intended user. For example, Ultimate III for a Family Office is not the same configuration as Ultimate III for an Institutional Investor.

Pre-Configured Editions or Custom Configuration
Risk Shell Editions
Pre-defined combinations of Risk Shell components designed around the requirements of a particular type of institutional user.
Custom Configuration
Select individual Risk Shell components, data feeds and portfolio-management tools according to the institution's own investment process.
A Modular Platform Rather Than Fixed Product Tiers
Risk Shell Editions are intended to simplify initial configuration, not to restrict the platform to fixed product bundles. Institutions can subscribe to the components relevant to their current workflow and extend the configuration as investment, portfolio-management or data requirements change.
This approach allows an institution to begin with a focused analytical environment while preserving access to the broader Risk Shell architecture, including advanced risk analytics, portfolio construction, FoF Manager, Shadow Accounting, custom data, external data feeds and specialized investment modules.
Complete Risk Shell Component Coverage
Institutional Investor Editions provide the broadest pre-configured Risk Shell line. The progression from Basic through Ultimate IV ultimately covers the complete set of Risk Shell analytical, portfolio-management, data and alternative-investment components.
The matrix below can therefore also be used as a reference to the full Risk Shell component set. Other client-specific editions combine selected components according to their intended workflow, while custom configurations can be assembled from the broader platform functionality.
